expedition service departs from two stations: cusco (poroy) and the sacred valley (ollantaytambo) the route cusco - machu picchu is a three hours journey for those who want to departure directly from cusco, being the only alternative in the market, and the sacred valley - machu picchu route offer multiple schedules and rates choices.
itinerary:
early in the morning pick up from the hotel and transfer to the train station (poroy) .the train trip will last approx 4 hours. once we arrive to aguas calientes town, we will take the bus to machupicchu (25 min.) once there we will have our guided tour (2-3 hours) you will visit the most important and interesting places in machupicchu after that you will have free time to explorer take more pictures or climb the waynapicchu mountain.
after all you have to take the bus back to aguas calientes to have lunch, and then to take the train back to cusco arriving in the evening. we will be waiting for you to transport you to your hotel.
